School Trip to Spain: Andalusia and El Puerto de Santa Maria
Highcrest Academy 2nd – 8th July 2016
After a lot of anticipation and getting ready for a trip, which we started organizing in April 2015 when I visited Highcrest Academy to speak to the students about a school trip to Spain, last week was finally the moment to welcome our Friends from Highcrest to Spark!
We had an absolutely great time with these students who have to be credited for their helpful and respectful behaviour, and their willingness to learn about Spain and the Spanish Language with their chaperone Mario continuously.
We hope they all had a great time with us and learned lots of Spanish during their week here 🙂

¡Calurosa semana de verano portuense con nuestros alumnos de Highcrest Academy! Un grupo numeroso de chicos y chicas muy simpáticos que empezaron su viaje cultural, aprendiendo nuestro típico baile del flamenco, sinceramente le pusieron mucho esfuerzo. También tuvimos algunos días de playa y los estudiantes pasaron una buena tarde jugando al fútbol, ¡claramente pudieron comprobar mis prodigiosas habilidades futbolísticas!
A mediados de semana, visitamos Cádiz con su interesante Torre Tavira y sus preciosas vistas. En Sevilla, el tiempo nos respetó y no hizo mucho calor, así que pudimos visitar la catedral y el Alcázar con sus increíbles jardines. Incluso tuvimos tiempo para algunas tapas. Por último, cómo no, hicimos el tour turístico por El Puerto de Santa María, la plaza de toros, el castillo, etc. Además, ¡nuestros estudiantes descubrieron y aprendieron a jugar al pádel!
