¡Las tapas en Andalucía!

Si se encuentra con su Viaje escolar en España y solamente estará por el país un periodo corto de tiempo, estamos seguros de que le gustaría sacar el mayor partido posible a su estancia. Una de las mejores es actividades culturales en su viaje escolar salir de tapas y vivir la verdadera experiencia de la gastronomía española.

Andalucía, donde Spark se encuentra, perteneció a muchas culturas diferente durante siglos, desde los romanos hasta los musulmanes y esto ha creado una gran influencia en nuestra gastronomía. La comida andaluza tiene una gran variedad de platos exquisitos que todo visitante debería probar, por ejemplo:

Gazpacho y salmorejo

Gazpacho es una sopa fría muy famoso hecha a base de tomates, pepino, pan y ajo y el Salmorejo es similar, pero es un poco más espeso, debido a que lleva más pan y normalmente se sirve con jamón y huevo cocido. Están deliciosos en un día caluroso.

Berenjenas con miel

Algo más para los vegetarianos sería estas berenjenas fritas servidas con un poco de miel. Suena extraño pero merece la pena probarlas.

Puntillitas

El marisco siempre está presente en los platos andaluces ya que cinco de las ocho provincias son costeras. Las puntillitas son pequeños calamares fritos, son muy populares.

Ortiguillas

Si eres un aventurero, prueba las ortiguillas, ¡son unas anémonas de mar fritas!

Pestiños de miel

Para terminar con el postre, podría probar estos“pestiños de miel”  como postre. Estas pequeñas piezas de masa, están fritas y cubiertas de azúcar o miel. ¡Es casi imposible tomar solamente una!

Polvorones

Como sabemos, el nombre viene de  “polvo”, estos pasteles de almendras son muy desmenuzables y polvoroso son muy populares en toda España, pero dicen que fueron inventados en Andalucía. Son muy comunes en Navidades, pero disponibles todo el año.

¡Que aproveche!

Sabía que: ¡También es posible hacer una noche de tapas como acitividad cultural en nuestros Grupos escolares! Podemos incluir esta actividad en una de las tardes del programa, ¡lo que significa que sus estudiantes disfrutarán de esta experiencia única! ¡También está bastante bien para que los estudiantes practiquen el vocabulario de las comidas en español!

British School of Brussels 18th – 23rd June 2016

We were delighted to have BSB back with us again for yet another school trip to Spain in El Puerto de Santa María. The students all stayed with host families in the area of the school and seemed to have a great time with many opportunities to make international friends, learn more about Spanish culture and traditions and try some typical Spanish food.

School Trip to Spain: Andalusia and El Puerto de Santa Maria
Danesfield Manor  23th – 27th April 2016

We were delighted to have Danesfield Manor  Preparatory School with us for second time on a primary school trip to Spain.  The Danesfield Manor students were full of life and loved staying together in our sparkville residence where they were well looked after by our chaperone Mario. The group learned loads of Spanish and had fun trips to Cadiz, Sevilla and Gibraltar as well as some kayaking in the bay of Cadiz. Read more!

We were excited to have Tudor Hall with us again this year for their Spanish school trip for Years 9-12 in El Puerto de Santa María. All students all stayed with local families in El Puerto, coming in every day for their Spanish lessons, to then continue with the cultural trips in the afternoons: El Puerto, Cádiz, Jerez and Sevilla as well as an afternoon on the beach and a flamenco lesson!
